The 50% discount for passengers with a disability rate of 80% or more is a social support measure of the Greek State and is strictly regulated by Greek law. It does not constitute a general commercial offer of the company.
Eligibility requires an official Greek disability certification issued through:
the Disability Certification Centers (KEPA)
the National Disability Portal (e-EFKA)
As disability percentages and medical assessment criteria may vary between countries, only the official Greek certification is legally valid for the application of this specific discount.
For this reason, foreign disability documents cannot be accepted, even if they indicate a similar degree of disability.
This policy does not constitute discrimination. It reflects the Greek State’s authority to define the administrative procedures and medical standards governing national social benefits and to ensure that eligibility is determined under the same legal and medical framework for everyone within Greece.
