In accordance with Greek law (Article 18 §7, Law 4830/2021), passengers must declare all pets (Companion, Therapy, Assistance) when booking tickets.
Zero-fare tickets must be issued for all animals in the reservation system. On-board ticket issuance is not allowed.
Bookings for pets cannot currently be made online.

Mandatory pet ticket details:
- Pet’s Health Booklet Number or Passport Number
- Microchip Number
- Animal Category (e.g., Companion, Therapy, Assistance)
- Animal Size (Small ≤10 kg, Large >10 kg)
Passengers must carry the updated health booklet, and are fully responsible for the pet’s care, safety, and hygiene during the journey.
According to EU Regulation No. 576/2013, each passenger can travel with up to 5 owned pets, each with its own health booklet.
Travel conditions:
- Pets ≤10kg: Travel in a carrier, staying with the owner.
- Pets >10kg: Must use the vessel’s designated pet cages.
- Therapy/Assistance/Working animals: Must wear a muzzle and leash, and stay with their owner.
All ships have designated pet areas, and conventional ships also offer special pet cabins (PET cabins).
Pets are not allowed in regular cabins, bars, restaurants, or enclosed common areas.
Unaccompanied animals are not accepted.
